Most people looking for a job know better than to look unprofessional when they go for a job interview. However, there are some other factors that can keep you from getting a job.

- Not being prepared: It’s very important for you to prepare for your job interview. This means that you need to plan and practice. With so much competition today, you need to do all you can to make yourself stand out in a positive way.

- Using a limp or weak handshake: You may be curious as to why people don’t think you’re a good candidate for employment if you have a terrible handshake. No, it’s not logical, but it doesn’t matter. A poor handshake turns people off and gives a negative impression. So, remember to use a firm and confident handshake as long as it’s not a bone crusher.
Keep these things to avoid in mind the next time you have a job interview. If you want to become employed, make sure that you’re not doing any of the things on that list, or you’ll be sure not to be hired.
